Terms of Service

1. The Service

Remote Jobz Kenya is a job matching service. We use your skills profile to find remote job opportunities that fit what you can do and send them to you via WhatsApp and Telegram. We are not an employer, recruiter, or employment agency. We match information and that is it.

2. Eligibility

To use our service you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid WhatsApp or Telegram account
• Provide accurate information in your profile
• Be legally eligible to work in the roles you apply for

3. Your Account & Profile

You are responsible for keeping your profile accurate and honest. If you list skills you do not actually have and we find out, your account may be closed without a refund.

Your account is yours alone. Please do not share it with other people.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Access to full job details and application links requires a paid subscription. The following plans are available:

• Basic: 1 Job/Day, 1 Month Access, KES 100 (KES 3.33/day)
• Standard: 5 Jobs/Day, 3 Months Access, KES 400 (KES 4.44/day)
• Pro: 10 Jobs/Day + Skill Gap Analysis, 6 Months Access, KES 999 (KES 5.46/day)

Payments go through M-Pesa or card via Paystack. M-Pesa is the primary payment method. When you subscribe, you are authorising the chosen payment method to be charged the relevant amount.

5. Job Matches & Accuracy

Job matches are based on the skills you provide versus what employers list as requirements. We cannot guarantee:

• A specific number of matches
• That any match will lead to an interview or a job
• That every job listing is fully accurate (some come from third party sources)
• That a position is still open by the time you apply

Match scores show how much your skills overlap with what a job needs. They are not a guarantee of employment.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to spam or harass employers
• Share subscription access with others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our matching system
• Provide false skills or experience in your profile
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

7. Notifications

By creating a profile you are agreeing to receive messages from us via WhatsApp, Telegram, and email. This includes job matches, payment confirmations, and the occasional account reminder. You can opt out any time by getting in touch.

8. Intellectual Property

Everything on Remote Jobz Kenya including our content, branding, and matching system belongs to us. Please do not reproduce or commercialise any part of it without asking first.

9. Limitation of Liability

Remote Jobz Kenya is provided as is. We are not responsible for:

• Job opportunities missed because the service was down
• How employers respond to or treat your application
• Problems with third party platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, M-Pesa, or Paystack
• Data loss from circumstances outside our control

The most we can ever be liable to you for is the amount you paid for your current subscription.

10. Termination

We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can also close your account any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If you keep using the service after changes go live, that counts as acceptance. We will flag any big changes to active subscribers.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Kenyan law. Any disputes will be handled under Kenyan jurisdiction.
